BIO

A little about Gabi:

I started dancing when I was only 3 years old and became an instructor and choreographer when i was only 16! Dance has always filled my soul and made me come alive. I have always believed in creating a community of people who love the power of movement as much as I do, and this is my main goal as a dedicated Hip Hop Choreographer. I want each and every one of my students and clients to leave feeling energized, joyful, and confident. From music videos to quince's to weddings to classes to dance teams and cheer teams. My choreography has been apart of many events. I'd love to make your vision come to life.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Helpful Info

HOW DO I BUY A CHOREOGRAPHED DANCE?

I base my pricing on each minute of choreography provided. For example, a typical quincenera dance is about 5 minutes which would be $150. This includes a video of choreography to the song or songs of your choice. (Mixed music is a separate fee)

HOW DO I BUY MIXED MUSIC?

I charge $75 per mix. *If the mix is longer than 5 minutes it will be $15 per extra minute. Changes to the mix that is made for you based off of your preference will be free of charge.

WHEN IS THE PAYMENT DUE?

All choreography, music, and video fees are REQUIRED up front after a contract is signed. NO EXCEPTIONS. Practice fees will be due after each service is provided. Studio fees are due BEFORE the studio is called and reserved. Commuter fees are due before or during each practice. (If you are 25 minutes or farther you will be charged a commuter fee)

WHY DO I HAVE TO SIGN A CONTRACT?

I request a signature on a written agreement to protect myself and you as well. Nothing too extreme. Just holding both parties accountable for service and payment. It’s like what you would sign for any type of service really. I can get started as soon as it’s signed. *notice* contract can and will be used in the court of law if anything on it is breached.

DO YOU PROVIDE A PLACE TO PRACTICE?

I do not have my own studio space, it is up to you to find a place to practice. I do have an option where we can rent out a studio but
they usually charge $40-$50 per hour (depending on the size of the room you want) + $75 cleaning fee + $125 liability fee. And that would be after every time it’s used. This doesn’t go to me it goes to the studio that I reserve. The upside to using a studio is there’s mirrors, space, and a nice stereo system. The downside to using the studio is we would have to reserve it at a time when they aren’t using it so it might be early in the day or very late at night or even on the weekend. This would have to be paid BEFORE the studio is called and reserved.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I SCHEDULE YOU OUT?

I need at LEAST a weeks notice before the first practice. This will give me time to prepare music, choreography, and the contract. I usually recommend if you have multiple dances to schedule 3 months in advance (from the date of the quince). The earlier the better!

DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE PRACTICE TIMES?

Although I recommend that you do, it’s not required. If you do not want me to teach you personally I will send a video of the choreography free of charge. But it will not be a step by step Video. Step by step videos are $25 per video.
